Out with the old in with the new. That's what they say when a year is at it's end and a new one is knocking at our door. This year has had it's ups and downs, laughter and tears, joy and pain, but one thing is for sure, it has either made us stronger or has defeated us. I thank my Lord Jesus for letting all the situations of the year bring me closer to Him, which made me stronger...not my own strength, but His.
When I was in my early twenties a woman I knew said this to me..."If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always gotten." This statement was profound in my life. Realize this, that if you want things to be different in your life you cannot do the same things you've always done, you have to step up, take a chance, and do something different. I challenge anyone reading this blog to do just that....Little changes in our behavior, reactions, speech, etc, can change the way we view life, not to mention, the way others view you. It can change your whole life...it can't get you to heaven, only inviting Jesus into your heart can do that, but with Jesus on your side, you can't help but to have a new hope.
If you live for Jesus, your life will change. I know. I've lived more of my life without Jesus than with Him and I'll tell you this...living life with Jesus is soooooooooooooooo much better than trying to live it on my own. I will let you in on more of my life as time goes by so that you can see just how much Jesus has changed me....you won't want to miss it either...My life story thus far has had many twists and turns. I will bear my heart and soul to you to show you that nothing is impossible for God. But for now I want to say "Happy New Year!"
